BSL training and development program Feb – June 2022
BSL is proud to announce the formal relaunching of our significantly enhanced football programme.
As you are aware our Women’s team play in the Thai FA’s professional T2. These past months we have been working hard to build an even stronger squad and have set our sights on promotion to T1 and Asian Champions League Football (AFC) by 2024.
Developments within the club and within the Thai FA - supported by FIFA - mean that we can now start to build a strong academy programme. Our aim is to build a youth football programme that provides pathways for young women and young men into elite level football in Thailand. We will be putting considerable effort into developing a deep and strong programme for all young players within Thailand.
This first step is to formally relaunch the age groups in January. To bring us inline with the developments in youth football in Thailand we will offer the following age groups from January.
Mini (under 6), U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18.
The mini to U12 programmes will be mixed and we will offer girls/boys only programmes from U14 and up.
We will also have 2 locations (to begin with) and options for midweek training. BSL is committed to providing appropriate opportunities for players of all levels of experience and with a range of personal footballing goals and so there are different options available. Please see the timetable and price list below.
Our packages are totally flexible to each player's needs and we can deliver training for all levels. From the grassroots player (1-2 sessions per week) to the developing players and competitive performers (3-4 sessions per week).
Registration fee - 1,000 Baht, which includes administration and BSL kit (Once in a season)
The 10 weeks sessions fees:
One session a week - 3;500 Baht
Two sessions a week - 6,000 Baht
Three sessions a week - 8,250 Baht
Four Sessions a week - 10,000 Baht

These 3 ideas are central to everything we are trying to implement at BSL, whenever we are discussing a new initiative or development we ask ourselves how these ideas are reflected in it.
Our Training
Our training is games based with incorporated sports specific conditioning. What does that mean?
We create learning and development opportunities by using what is known as ”task design”. This allows coaches to guide the players through concepts while still giving players the freedom to make decisions, be creative and explore the game of football. Conditioning activities are short and sharp, designed for maximum results in minimal time. The 3 main elements are acceleration and change of direction, speed and aerobic speed. Senior and more mature players also have access to individualised strength and conditioning (s&c) sessions.
Our grassroots curriculum is blocked so that young players focus on one theme for a number of weeks, allowing them plenty of opportunities to acquire and develop new technical and tactical skills, with the aim of mastering the game.
BSL coaches are also implementing techniques from the Positive Youth Development Framework (PYD) which has been shown to help young people develop mental and life skills that they can use away from the field.
miMove app
miMove app is a physical activity and wellbeing monitoring tool which will use to track players training hours, types of activity, general mood and as a safe communication tool, which does not require coaches to have access to players personal details. BSL is one of the first clubs in the world to implement this tool and will be working closely with miMove to help develop the product further. More detailed information on the data we generate will be communicated in January / February.
Player Profiling - Key Performance Indicators
Our player profiles combine coach assessment of skill level and game effectiveness with physiological performance (fitness) and maturity. Regular updating of the profile allows players to track their progress.
