BSL this coming Saturday Feb. 13

BSL BoT elections Feb. 6, 2016:
In regard to the BSL AGM this past Saturday, 6 February 2016, we are pleased to announce the following results and outcomes:

1. There was a quorum represented at the AGM with over 29% of the BSL Voting Membership represented, well over the 10% minimum;
2. The BSL By-Laws as presented to the BSL Community were adopted and approved by the BSL Voting Membership; and
3. The BSL Voting Membership elected four of the six BSL Board of Trustee positions as follows:
   1. Cheryl Rego
   2. Paul Sergeant
   3. Charles Blocker
   4. Doron Shachar

 As called for in the BSL By-laws, the elected BSL Board of Trustee members will be meeting in the coming few days to elect a Chairperson, sort roles and responsibilities, and look to appoint persons from the BSL Voting Membership for the two vacant elected Board of Trustee positions. Results of these activities will be announced in the coming week. Further, then the Board of Trustees will have its first official meeting including Mr. Mike Balo, as the BPS appointed Board of Trustee member.
The AGM minutes, election results from the Voting and Election Committee and the approved BSL By-Laws will be uploaded to the BSL Website in the next few days for your review.
